This policy explains how we handle information when you use JobShutter. It applies to free design-partner pilots and paid use. We may update this policy; material changes will be posted with a new effective date.
JobShutter is a business tool for contractors and field teams (photos, projects, reports, maps). It is not directed at children under 13. If your company invites you, your company admin controls your account and may see your activity in their workspace.
Your company owns this content. We process it to provide the service.
Emails or texts you send us for support or feedback.
If you buy a paid plan, payment processors (e.g., Stripe) process card/bank details. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Not required for free pilots.
We do not: sell your Customer Data or client lists; use your clients’ identities to run a competing landscaping (or other trade) business; give other JobShutter customers access to your workspace.
Each company has a separate org. Users only access data for their company (except platform operators fixing security or legal issues, under strict need-to-know).
We share information only with infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, email, maps) under contracts requiring protection of data; your company admins; professional advisors or authorities if required by law; or a buyer of JobShutter’s business with notice where required. We do not sell personal information.
We use industry-reasonable measures (encrypted transport, hashed passwords, access controls, backups). No method is 100% secure. Report issues to [email protected].
Servers are currently in the United States. If you access from elsewhere, you consent to US processing.
We will post updates at this URL. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy, except where consent is required by law.
